Jumbo Race Jackpot Hits Again


LAS VEGAS– Less than one month after opening, Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa’s race & sports book played proud host to Station Casinos’ second Jumbo Race Jackpot winner, awarding $7,475 to Las Vegas resident D.L. on Monday, May 8 at 10:30AM. The Jumbo Race Jackpot hit during Fort Erie’s second race of the day, on which the winner had placed a $20 bet that he won as well.

“I found a new favorite teller,” D.L. said, referring to race & sports teller Donnie Ward, who was responsible for the winning Boarding Pass swipe. The first Jumbo Race Jackpot was awarded only five days earlier when Las Vegas resident Jerry Jennings won $14,790 at Sunset Station on May 3. Launched on April 10, Jumbo Race is a progressive jackpot available in race books at Palace Station, Boulder Station, Santa Fe Station, Sunset Station, Texas Station, Fiesta Rancho, Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock Casino. The Jumbo Race Jackpot begins at $5,000 and must hit by $15,000, guaranteed.
